Sometimes it's hard to imagine that a philosophical text, composed two thousand years ago somewhere on the Indian subcontinent, could have any relevance to our day-to-day lives in the 21st century, but it does. In fact, it maintains its relevance because we humans are incredibly predictable. Even though our stressors may be different now, not much has changed about what happens within us when we go out of balance. The good news is that the Yoga Sūtra offers us some (relatively) simple tools to get back on track.
In this workshop we’ll learn about, and reflect upon the symptoms of imbalance and also the specific tools and ideas Patañjali gives us to feel.
